Tamas Handcrafted Terracotta Natural Clay South Indian Kadai (Brown)

Preparing food in earthenware not only imparts a delightful aroma but also preserves vital nutrients and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and phosphorus. The alkaline properties of clay play a role in balancing the pH of the food by interacting with its acidic components, acting as a natural detoxifies—a practice supported by Ayurveda for its numerous health advantages.
In addition, cooking with clay pots aligns with organic and Eco-friendly principles. This cooking method requires less oil compared to other types of cookware, promoting healthier cholesterol levels. The porous nature of earthenware allows for slow and consistent cooking, retaining the natural juices and allowing flavors to meld gradually. This results in richer tastes and heightened aromas.

Opting for meals prepared in clay pots can also help alleviate acidity issues. Importantly, clay cookware is inert, ensuring it does not react adversely with the food being cooked.
